We transplant lilacs all the time without a problem. If you really don&#039;t want to risk losing them, leave them. Otherwise in early spring, simply dig them up, move them to your new location. Dig a hole at the new site. Make sure it&#039;s sunny and amend the soil prior to planting. WAter them well until they start growing. That&#039;s about it. Good luck!]]></description>
