Redbuds and crabapples are features of spring in Virginia. It’s been raining ever since I planted the peas, lettuce, beets, onions and broccoli raab on Sunday – yay! The constant moisture will not only keep the cats out of the raised vegetable garden beds, it will encourage seed germination.
While I wait for the seeds, here are some pictures of the beautiful blooms around the farm. We have redbud and crabapple trees just starting to bloom.
