Among the many crepe recipes I&#8217;ve tested, this one is the best.<\/p>\n<h2>Easy Crepe Recipe<\/h2>\n<p>Fresh, hot, fruit-filled crepes&#8230;the thought of them makes my mouth water. I haven&#8217;t had crepes in years. My sister, Ann, used to make them for the family on Fridays during Lent.<\/p>\n<p>I always thought that crepes were difficult to make. I avoided trying any crepe recipes until recently, when the craving for crepes made me search for recipes to test. I went through several until I tinkered with a basic crepe recipe to create my own.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This recipes uses simple ingredients nearly everyone has in the pantry. I filled mine with fresh <a href=\"https:\/\/homegardenjoy.com\/site\/2015\/05\/how-to-grow-strawberries.html\">strawberry<\/a> jelly but today I tried my <a href=\"https:\/\/homegardenjoy.com\/site\/2017\/09\/how-to-can-apples.html\">canned apples<\/a> since I had some leftover from dinner last night. Oh my &#8211; the apples were a hit!<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle powdered sugar over your crepes along with some fresh cinnamon for the apple-filled crepes and you have a delicious breakfast. Mais oui!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7218\" style=\"width: 622px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/morguefile.com\/photos\/morguefile\/1\/crepes\/pop\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7218\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7218\" src=\"https:\/\/homegardenjoy.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Easy-crepe-recipe-Morguefile-license-file000691089158.jpg\" alt=\"best crepe recipe\" width=\"612\" height=\"1000\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-7218\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Me making crepes. No, seriously, this is a photo licensed from Morgufile.com\/Clarita<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>Easy Crepe Recipe &#8211; Basic Crepes<\/h3>\n<p>Makes enough for two.<\/p>\n<p>You will need one small nonstick frying pan and a dab of cooking oil. Swirl the oil in the bottom of the pan and heat on medium until the pan is good and hot.<\/p>\n<p>While the pan heat, whisk together:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup of flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup water<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons melted butter<\/li>\n<li>dash of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Using a measuring cup, pour one-quarter of the batter into the pan, swirling it so that it coats the bottom evenly. Cook 1-2 minutes, then gently flip the crepe, allowing the other side to cook. Plate immediately, filling the crepe with jelly, canned apples or fresh fruit such as berries. Repeat until you have 3-4 crepes.
