Online Classes for Christian Herbalists

The following online classes for Christian herbalists are affiliate resources. I’ve taken many of them myself and found them to be a great resource.

Why Classes for Christian Herbalists?

Although it may not be a problem for you, many Christians do have issues when herbal topics are mixed with alternative spiritual beliefs. Being urged to “thank the plant spirits” goes against the first commandment. We give thanks only to God for all things. This is just one small example of a much larger problem that many Christians have with herbal information intended for a mass audience.

The classes shared here for Christian herbalists focus on how-to instructions without the spiritual practices mixed in. Although I have not taken each of these classes personally, I have taken previous classes with The Herbal Academy. They are excellent – informative without any spiritual practices mixed in.

How to Grow Tulsi from Seed

Holy basil, also called tulsi, can be grown from seeds. That, at least, is what everyone told me. I’d read about tulsi (holy basil) in several books about herbal medicine and seen it cited as a good adaptogenic herb. I was excited to grow it, so I ordered seeds. Several years in a row. Each…
