20 Insanely Easy Gardening Tips

September 30, 2014 by Jeanne

spade and hoeI’m all for making gardening easier, and these 20 Insanely Clever Gardening Tips really do make gardening easier. I was up early today thanks to restless pets and decided to look up cleaning tips. No, really. Not because I had nothing to do, but because I made lasagna on Sunday evening and it boiled over just a wee bit into the oven…and since I’m generally ignorant about how to clean things up, I tried to clean it up with a wet rag, and ended up burning the tomato sauce onto the oven floor. Okay, stupid, right? So I’m up early hunting around for cleaning tips and stumbled over the 20 Insanely Clever Gardening Tips. LOVE them!

A few tips from the article…

  • Use cinder blocks to make a raised bed garden instead of wood.
  • Use a coffee filter in the bottom of a pot to keep the soil from spilling out of the drainage holes.
  • Use packing peanuts in the bottom of a container for drainage and to keep the container lightweight.

And those are just 3 tips!

Great article…link is above.
