Easy Recipes

The fun part of growing your own organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs is learning how to cook and preserve them. We love sharing our healthy recipes with you that feature home-grown goodness. These garden-to-table recipes use plants as the star attraction rather than an afterthought. And while we do have some meat-based recipes, most of our recipes follow "nutritarian" principles that focus on plants as the main course.

Canning and preserving the harvest are also vital skills when you grow your own edibles. We include these recipes so that, with the help of a good guide or resource such as the National Center for Home Food Preservation, you can learn how to can your own food, too.
