Healthy Salad Recipes

Apple Parsley Salad – Fresh parsley, crisp lettuce, and tart apples blend into the perfect salad. It’s packed with flavor and vitamins. What’s not to love?

Radish Salad – A great spring salad utilizing fresh radishes. If you have different radish varieties, you can make a really pretty presentation with this salad!

Cucumber Radish Salad – The cucumbers add a pretty spot of light green to the radish salad.

Tuscan Bean Salad – A taste of Italy meets healthy beans in this herbed mix.

Broccoli Pasta Salad – Fresh broccoli and pasta blend into the perfect hearty and healthy salad.

Caprese Salad – A summertime classic, this blend of basil, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and olive oil is a must for picnics and light suppers.

Hearty Beet Salad – We love growing beets and even if you don’t like canned beets from the supermarket, you might like this hearty beet salad. Fresh beets from your garden make all the difference.

Strawberry Spinach Salad – Spring fruits and vegetables blend perfectly into this flavorful salad.

Cranberry Spinach Salad – A sprin on the spinach salad base with dried cranberries.

Salads with Meat

Autumn Waldorf Salad with Pork – This tasty Waldorf salad uses leftover pork loin or pork chop for a protein and taste-packed meal salad.

Tarragon Chicken Salad – I say you can never grow enough tarragon. It’s my favorite herb. Now, make a salad of chicken and flavor with tarragon and what do you have? Heaven on a plate!

Pea Salad – This green pea salad includes bacon or ham, but you can leave it out for an all-vegetable treat. Fresh spring peas make the flavors sing with the taste of spring.

Side Salad Recipes

Potato Salad Recipe – This is one of my most popular recipes on Home Garden Joy and for good reason – it’s fantastic! This is the potato salad recipe I take to potlucks, picnics, and barbecues all the time. It’s so popular guests often take it first. Make it once, and you’ll want to make it again and again.

Healthy Ramen Noodle Salad – Ramen noodles blend with vegetables for a healthy Ramen noodle salad. Hint: don’t add the salty flavoring packet to the noodles.

Italian Pasta Salad – The flavors of Italy in a bowl! This pasta salad combines the best of garden vegetables with yummy pasta for a filling side salad.

Salad Dressing Recipes

Dijon-tarragon salad dressing – Did I mention how I love tarragon? Yes, it’s included in this dijon-tarragon salad dressing, which tastes great with crisp spring lettuce fresh from the garden.

Herbal vinegar – I’m partial to French culture, cuisine, and French anything. Dressing salads with a light herbal vinegar is quintessentially French. Add fines herbs to white wine or champagne vinegar, or your favorite herbs to a white wine or champagne vinegar base, and you’re set.
